Today -100: February 9, 1914: Of Balkan wars, divorces, and damns
Turkey is rumored to be considering restarting the Balkan Wars (good times, good times) in order to recover territory lost to Greece, and maybe Albania as well.

I enjoy ( a lot ) the 100 years ago theme - a great reminder that the stupidities of man are enduring. But I randomly scanned your references to e.g. KittyKiller Frisk, and the immediacy and savagery of those 'contemporary' blogs was really, really, outstanding. And I wish you could return to some more contemporary comment.A bit more often. Please ? But anyway, please don't stop. Cheers.
