The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit was held in Peru this year, and the traditional Make All the Leaders Dress Funny portion was just lame.
So lame.

ReplyDeleteThose are Driza-Bones! Inclement weather overcoats for the cattle-drivin' man on the land (and pretentious city hipsters in the 1990s). Would have been more obvious if they'd forced everyone to wear an Akubra as well (that's a brand of hat, allegedly named from an aboriginal word for "hat").
As they pointed out on The Mighty Boosh, it's impossible to be unhappy in a poncho, and I think these pictures prove that.
Can you see The Orange One in any of these outfits? They're only for those who are mature enough to handle looking a little silly.
