Prince Henry of Britain, 25, the third son of King George, is reportedly (“again”) engaged to Lady Mary Scott, 21, daughter of the Duke & Duchess of Buccleuch. “If the rumors turn out to be correct, the engagement will be very popular.” They aren’t.

This Prince Henry must have been some cad. Not only did he not get engaged to Lady Mary, he also did not get engaged to Lady Mary's younger sister Lady Angela 3 years later, but finally did get engaged and married to Lady Alice in 1935. Must have been awful in the Scott family.
