Today -100: June 12, 1922: Watch out for snakes!


No rum can be found in Alipine, New Jersey to treat a man bitten by a copperhead snake. (In case this needs to be said, do not treat snakebite with rum).

    Unless of course you are W.C. Fields who did mention in one of his skits that he always carried a bottle of whiskey in case of emergency to treat a snake bite. The snake, of course he also always carried with him, just in case.
